Kinmen National Park said that, the "Conference on the Reuse of Island Traditional Buildings" is very special. It is the first to exchange experiences on preserving traditional buildings in Penghu, Matsu, and Kinmen. The special history in Penghu, Matsu and Kinmen creates lots of traditional cultural heritage. Kinmen County and Kinmen National Park actively preserve the traditional buildings; Lienjiang County Penghu County, and the National Scenic Area of the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communication also preserve and renovate traditional buildings in the villages. For example, Xiyu Erkan Village and Wanan Hauzhai (Penhu), Beigan Qinbi and Nangan Niujiao (Matsu) have many interesting and touching stories on village preservation. Let us pay more attention and cherish the traditional buildings and village preservation.
