Kinmen National Park Administration (hereinafter “KNPA”) is holding the 1st Tender for Leasing by Auction of the Traditional Building Homestays and Stores Operation in 2021. The subjects are Nanshan No.19 (homestays), Beishan No. 62 (homestays) and Yangzhuolou (Chua Ka Cheong western house’s store and office). The bid submission period is from now under until 9am on March 12, 2021. Interested parties are invited to take advantage of the opportunity.
Over the years, KNPA has actively promoted old house restoration and re-use. Leasing of homestays and stores by tender increases use benefit of traditional buildings and gives visitors who have never stayed in an old house the chance to do so. Kinmen has an abundance of historical sites, battle remains, special geological coastal landscape and biodiversity and is thus highly suited to tourism development. Everyone is invited to bid.
