Kinmen at 25‧Splendid 25 Years Family Concert: Kinmen National Park Headquarters Invites You to Celebrate the Park’s 25th Anniversary

Kinmen National Park is 25 years old! To celebrate the park’s 25th birthday, the Kinmen at 25‧Splendid 25 years family concert will be held at Zhongshanlin Visitor Center at 3:30 pm on October 18, 2020 (Sunday). The top three contestants in the 2020 Jinhu Beach Clam Singing Contest, teacher Chen Yi-jie of Shumei Elementary School who will lead the school’s Versailles Cello Ensemble made up of students and teachers, talented Kinmen singer-songwriter Chung Zhen-yu and Kinmen’s Horseshoe Crab Theater will all perform in turn.
Kinmen National Park was officially established on October 18, 1995 and was Taiwan’s sixth national park and also the first to have protection of historical sites and cultural heritage as its aim as well as having ecological resources. Covering an area of 3528 hectares and occupying almost one quarter of Kinmen overall, it covers Guningtou, Mt. Taiwu, Gugang, Mashan and Lieyu areas. The park HQ said that the Kimnen at 25‧Splendid 25 years family concert will be held to thank Kinmen residents for their long-term care and support; beside the venue there also are family play facilities newly completed this year that merge ecological guide and local cultural elements and are a good choice for weekend and holiday leisure Everyone is invited to come out and together enjoy outdoor activity and a good time with their family.
