Over the years, Kinmen National Park Headquarters has actively promoted the restoration and active reuse of military barracks area. To increase the use benefits of military facilities, tendering is used for active operation and management of military barracks to give visitors to Kinmen a chance to have an in-depth experience of the battlefield atmosphere of Kinmen and actively reuse Kinmen’s unique tourism resources; at the same time, eco-tourism is promoted to stimulate local industry and the economy and thus drive the development of the settlement recreation services industry, allowing battleground remains to be regraded with importance by more people and preserved and enjoyed by generations to come.
The second announcement of the 1st Tender for Military Area Active Operation and Management involves Jiugong Store in Lieyu Township. One announcement and staged tender opening will be used. The subject is sales areas in Siwei 7th Barrack and Lieyu Visitor Center.The bid submission period is from now under 2pm on October 22 (Thursday), 2020. Interested persons are invited to take advantage of the opportunity.
