Kinmen National Park Headquarters holds the 2021 conservation research online presentation meeting on May 19

To protect Kinmen’s resources and for environmental sustainable development, Kinmen National Park HQ holds a research results presentation every year in which research teams share the results of their efforts, promoting the use and exchange of various conservation survey resources and, at the same time, sharing Kinmen’s diverse and distinctive resources.

Kinmen National Park HQ Director Cheng Rui-chang said that, in response to the recent development of the epidemic, the Kinmen National Park 2021 Conservation Research Results presentation meeting will be held on the Kinmen National Park Headquarters Youtube channel at 9:30 on May 19, 2022 (Thursday). Six conservation research themes were completed in 2021, with rich results

Kinmen National Park HQ pointed out that the research results of six themes were presented this time, namely: “Study of Kinmen great cormorant migration and ecology” of National Taiwan University’s Prof. Ding Tsung-su (2/3), “Study of Kinmen Eurasian Otter phylogeny and group movement” of Taipei City Zoo’s Dr. Chang-Liao Nian-Hung (2/3), “Kinmen immigrant group culture and its impact: Indonesian Islands of National Taiwan Normal University’s Prof. Chiang Bo-wei (2/3), “Kinmen National Park amphibious reptile survey” of National Dong Hwa University’s Prof Yang Yi-ru (2/2), “Kinmen National Park’s vegetation diversity survey” of National Chiayi University’s Assistant Professor Lu Chang-tse (2/2), and “Study of Kinmen prehistoric culture development and Austronesian formation and spread” of National Cheng-kung University’s Prof. Liu Yi-chang (2/3).
