In cooperation with Guningtou Community Development Association, Kinmen National Park HQ will hold the 2022 Eurasian Otter Tour on Sunday, December 2. Guided group tours of Guningtou Community, combined with community resources and local characteristics, will be conducted and an otter painting activity held.
Kinmen National Park HQ said that community interpreters will guide participants to let them learn about settlement characteristics; they will also be taken to otter habitat by community wardens to learn about otter habitat conservation results and will engage in otter painting. In a lively and fun way, the activity will raise environmental awareness and conservation knowledge. The activity will take place at Guningtou Village Activity Center and will involve teaching in groups. Registration opens at 9am on Wednesday November 16 and there are 60 places. People of grade 3 and above can register. Each registering group has a maximum of six people and places are only available while places are still free.
