What does the emblem of Kinmen National Park stand for?

The Kinmen National Park emblem is based with a hump-shape design from traditional Southern Fujian style architectures, and combined with an auspicious red color as the main pattern. The design emphasizes Kinmen's rich cultural heritage and traditional villages. The green outer circle represents Kinmen's abundant natural resource, such as birds and other natural resources. The selection of the emblem was done by national competition. (March 23, 1996).
