The beloved "Little Soldier's Diary: Children's Military Experience Camp" is now open for registration!
The Kinmen National Park "Little Soldier's Diary: Children's Military Experience Camp" will take place on March 15–16 and March 29–30! We will hold a total of six sessions, suitable for children aged 3 to 12 years old. The event combines environmental education with military experiences, allowing children to broaden their horizons and spark their curiosity through fun and educational activities.
According to the Kinmen National Park Headquarters, this year's event will be held at the historically significant Ruishan Fort, offering children a deeper opportunity to experience military culture. The activities are divided into two main categories: "Marine and Land Special Forces Camp" and "Little Army Camp."
The "Marine and Land Special Forces Camp" will be held on March 15 and March 29, and includes the following activities: Artillery training, Combat medic training, Camping skills, Weapon assembly and bayonet techniques, Shooting practice, a 50-obstacle challenge, Physical training, and the "Path to Heaven" endurance test. These activities are designed to push children to challenge themselves, improving both their physical fitness and mental resilience.
The "Little Army Camp" will take place on March 16 and March 30, with a total of four sessions (morning and afternoon). Activities include: the Rescue the Teddy Bear mission, a 50-obstacle challenge, grenade throwing, shooting training, and Ammunition transport tasks. Through these fun military-themed games, children will develop teamwork and problem-solving skills.
For an immersive experience, every participant will receive a complete mini military outfit, including a camouflage uniform, gloves, boots, goggles, and a belt. In this simulated military environment, children can learn military knowledge through play, challenge themselves, and develop their skills.
Registration is now open, with a maximum of 30 participants per session, on a first-come, first-served basis.
