Reopening of Zhongshanlin Tennis Courts and Signing of Cleaning Cooperation MOU to Promote a Safe, Clean, and Sustainable Sports Environment

To enhance the quality
of public sports facilities and strengthen venue management and maintenance,
the Zhongshanlin Tennis Courts, located in the Zhongshanlin Recreation Area,
were officially reopened following a comprehensive renovation. On January 7, 2026,
at 10:00 a.m., a Tennis Court Reopening and Cleaning Cooperation MOU Signing
Ceremony was held to mark both the reopening of the courts and the renewal of
the cleaning partnership, further strengthening the maintenance framework. We
extend our sincere appreciation to Director Jiang Shih-rong of the Tennis
Committee of the Kinmen County Sports Association and Principal Song Wen-fa of
Kinmen County Jinning Elementary and Junior High School for attending the
ceremony and witnessing the courts’ renewed appearance.

Director-General Cheng
Jui-chang of Kinmen National Park Headquarters (KNP HQ) noted that renovation
work began in February 2025, focusing on resurfacing the courts, installing
artificial turf, upgrading lighting equipment, and improving the surrounding
environment. The project balanced sports safety with preservation of the
natural landscape, ensuring that the courts retain their green forest character
while providing the public with a more comfortable and safer sports space.
Prior to the renovation, KNP HQ had already signed a cleaning cooperation MOU
with the Tennis Committee of the Kinmen County Sports Association, establishing
a solid management foundation. The renewal signing ceremony, held after
completion of the upgrades, reaffirmed the shared commitment of both parties to
continue the existing management and routine maintenance model, ensuring that
the courts remain clean, safe, and of high quality for long-term use.

The reopening of the
upgraded tennis courts and the establishment of an enhanced cleaning
cooperation mechanism not only improve the overall quality of the sports
environment but also demonstrate a strong commitment to public safety,
recreational quality, and environmental protection. Moving forward, KNP HQ will
continue to promote diverse partnerships and sound management practices to
provide residents and visitors with high-quality, welcoming sports and
recreational spaces.

We sincerely invite the public to step into the forest, swing a racket,
and enjoy health and vitality in a natural environment.
