Kinmen National Park Headquarters is holding the first lease by tender for active reuse of a military camp in 2021. The site in question is Zhaizi Mountain Camp in Jinsha Township. Bids can be submitted from now until 2pm, November 5 (Friday), 2021. Interested people can download bidding documents from the park’s official website.
Kinmen National Pak Headquarters has promoted restoration and reuse of military camps for many years. Through lease by tender of old military camps for active reuse, use benefits are increased and visitors are given an opportunity to experience Kinmen’s battlefield atmosphere in-depth. Actively reusing Kinmen’s unique tourism resources and, at the same time, promoting eco-tourism will boost the local economy and also drive the development of the travel service industry of settlements so that battlefield sites are given more attention and are preserved sustainably to be shared by future generations.
