Kinmen National Park Headquarters temporarily closed the indoor multimedia rooms at every site to the public on April 25, 2020.

For epidemic prevention in response to COVID-19, the Headquarters temporarily closed enclosed spaces including Mashan Tunnel, Nanshantou Tunnel and Qionglin  Yangzhuolou Tunnel (a combat tunnel) from January 30, 2020; temperature taking and real name registration of all visitors to indoor spaces has also began.

The multimedia rooms at all sites in the national park were temporarily closed from April 25 (Saturday) in response to the worsening of the COVID-19 epidemic and the Central Epidemic Command Center’s regulations on social distancing for epidemic prevention. Other display spaces remain open as normal, but visitors are required to practice social distancing.

The Headquarters said that an unprecedented pandemic is being faced at present worldwide. It apologizes for any inconvenience caused by implementing the  government’s various epidemic prevention measures to prevent the spread of the disease and reduce the risk of infection and hopes everyone can join in the fight against COVID-19 so that victory can be achieved at an early date.
