It's almost December. In the month of Christmas,Santa Claus will drive his sleigh to Gugang Commnunity! Quick, register for the Ancient Trail Exploration, Scenic Spots-Gugang Cultural History Short Trip Gugang activity held by Kinmen National Park HQ and Gugang Community Development Association on December 24. It will take everyone on a visit to the culturally-rich settlement and hold DIY honey scented wax tablet classes in combination with local industry, letting you enjoy a full and joyous Christmas.
The activity is a group activity with registration opening on Monday December 19 at 9am, with 60 places; each registering group is limited to four people and places will be available only while places are free. Kinmen National Park HQ said Gugang is in the southwest of Kinmen and is characterized by traditional settlement, historic buildings, defense fortifications, lake and coastal terrain. In recent years, beekeeping has become a local industry. This activity is intended to take participants into a traditional settlement and give them a DIY experience to let them understand Kinmen’s environmental ecology and cultural remains, come into contact with local social context and build a complete hometown image to nurture people's love for their homeland.
