金門傳統祠廟建築之比較研究

金門傳統聚落保存非常完整,具有世界遺產的潛力。傳統聚落的社會組成以宗族(clan)為主,而宗族最主要的核心即表現於宗祠建築。另外,傳統聚落為集村形態,恪守「內神外鬼」的宗教哲學觀,宮廟建築成為界定領域、守衛人居空間的前線。

本研究以金門之宗祠與宮廟建築為主,藉此了解它們在宗族聚落所扮演的社會功能,以及居民所反映的文化意識;接著,掌握祠廟建築的配置法則、建築形制、構造與材料、裝飾作法等層面,分析其建築特色與價值;最後,以泉州、漳州與廈門地區的祠廟之重要案例進行比較研究,進一步了解金門祠廟建築的文化資產價值。

其研究方法主要透過文獻收集分析、口述訪談及碑文紀錄、空間調查與記錄及與泉漳廈地區之田野調查與比較研究。在此次調查中發現金門宮廟的「八字規形式」的特殊性,經本研究訪察泉漳廈地區宮廟建築看來,其宮廟普遍為燕尾居多;但將燕尾屋脊內縮,外包覆土形山牆之形制,確普遍存在於金門各地。

由於金門地區近年來改建速度的非常快,本研究計畫亦希望能金門地區祠廟建築留下紀錄,並透過比較研究所呈現之結果,提供作為解說教育、修護準則之參考。進一步提供金門國家公園可立即執行的建議為:建立金門祠廟建築影像、歷史資料及文物檔案庫、製作金門傳統祠廟解說手冊或金門祠廟地圖等。

Abstract

The traditional villages of Quemoy(Kinmen)which have potential to be selected to the World Heritage are preserved well. Usually, the old village was composed of one clan and the ancestral hall was the center of clan society. On the other side, these villages was the compact typology, and the people follow the rule “there is a boundary of one village to both human and ghosts who live on each side” of a religious philosophy. 

Since that, temple buildings become symbols of bound and frontline to defense the evils.

The study focuses on the ancestral halls and temple buildings in Quemoy, and shows their social function and the cultural consciousness reflected by the residence. Second, we want to know the rules of village layout, building type and cultural form, construction and material, details and decoration, and analyze their architectural character and art value. Finally, we want to survey some important cases in Zaitun(Quanzhou), Chincheo(Zhangzhou)and Amoy(Xiamen), and try to compare each other. Through the process we could realize the cultural vaules of these ancestral halls and temple buildings further in Quemoy.
